Whew!
We have been painting like crazy. Except for the entry, bathrooms and garage, and a few touch ups the painting is done.
We got new carpet on Friday. It looks great and made a huge difference.
Saturday we went and got new blinds for all the windows and went out to Denny s for lunch. We also picked up the rest of the stuff for making the costumes.
Today, Tom did the lawn, went to the store, finished cooking the dinner I started and carved pumpkins with the boys while I spent the day making the boys original costumes. Sammy was his own creation - Sammy Cat. I sewed black sleeves on an orange shirt and appliqued a weapon to the shirt; I made a power crystal necklace and turned white bunny ears into pink and white cat ears. Add blue hair paint and white makeup and blue pants and you have Sammy Cat, the Catian.
Andrew went as the cartoon John Lennon from Yellow Submarine. I had to design a collar and cuffs to sew to a t-shirt as well as a red piece on the bottom and add red and orange stripes to the pants. We couldn't find purple pants so we used black and added a mustache.
So now Tom is out taking the boys trick-or-treating and I am passing out candy and cleaning up!
We are ready to take a load off and watch tv and have some grown up time!
That's all for now!
Happy Halloween!

Getting Our House Ready to Sell
So.... The painting continues! It only took two coats of paint to cover the dark red. I am so happy about that! The areas where its already cream - one quick, clean coat. We have the carpet set for about a week and a half from now so we have to hustle!
Saturday its off for some fun at the Air Show!
Anyway - time to get moving!

Tom N Krista
We have been working on emptying the house into storage and getting ready to paint. Fun stuff. We spent last Saturday filling a 2nd floor 10x15 storage unit with a dolly, Tom, myself, and our 9 and 10 year. 6-7 hours of hard labor!
Last night we stayed awake until 3 am talking and remembering/singing songs of the 70's. Remember "Telephone Line" by ELO? Rock the Boat by Hues Corporation? Black Water by the Doobie Bros.?
Anyway, back to it. More later!
